Hi, I’m Mari. I wanted to show you a day in the life of an ONCAMPUS Amsterdam student to give you an idea of why Amsterdam is such a great place to study abroad.

There are some nice accommodation options for students in the city and the ONCAMPUS team will help you find a place to stay.

Okay so, first thing in the morning, I usually grab myself some breakfast and then sometimes I make my own lunch to take with me to school. The Metro is also just outside the accommodation and it takes me around 20 minutes to get to campus on Metro line 53.

When I first arrived for my foundation year, I really loved the atmosphere around campus. It’s friendly and vibrant, with excellent facilities to study. I was especially struck by the beauty of the canals. One of them even flows right through the campus between the two main buildings. It’s a really beautiful sight!

So, I normally have up to two or three classes a day which are spread through three days during the week. Now, for lunch, we do have different options. The main cafeteria offers really delicious food from around the world. There’s really everything, also some vegan and vegetarian friendly options, which I really love.

This is De Brug. I often come here to work on projects we do in groups or pairs.

Of course, there’s also time to relax and explore Amsterdam. I’m a real foodie and the other day I found out about this place. It’s called the Foodhallen. It’s really great! The flavours are so amazing and you can find food from all over the world.

I hope that’s been a useful tour of a foundation year at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam. I hope to see you soon! Dag!
