Before I came to the UK I studied at High School in Kenya.

The student union at LSBU is a good place for students to meet, chat, play pool and socialise.

Being at ONCAMPUS enables me to meet friends, find out more about living in London and about the University and the course before I join LSBU.

I completed my High School in Kuwait before I came to study in the UK.

The facilities here are very good, there is a gym, a sports centre and an excellent library.

The staff here are very helpful, and are always able to answer our questions and help with any problems we face.

I like being in London, I am learning a lot about other cultures, it’s a very good experience for me.”

When I finish my degree I plan to go back to Kuwait to work for a petroleum company.

I decided to study at ONCAMPUS London South Bank as it seemed like a comprehensive course that would prepare me
for university. London is a really nice city to live in as I love history and visiting the landmarks and going to Oxford street
with my friends. When I first came to London my English wasn’t very good which I found to be a barrier but the team
was very supportive and helped me a lot. My personal tutor and the students were very helpful with any personal and
academic queries that I had and were happy to support me. I have learnt so much on my course - even Vietnamese from
one of my friends. My experience at ONCAMPUS London South Bank has been amazing, unforgettable and I will really
miss it. I have already recommended this course to my friends.

Before I came to the UK I studied at a University in Nigeria for a BSc in Statistics.

It is a relief to know that I have a guaranteed place at LSBU. It is a privilege for me to be able to go to LSBU and I’m very happy about it.

It is wonderful at ONCAMPUS, my tutors are very supportive, they are very interested in me and my classmates. The facilities are very good, you have freedom to use all the computers and books at the Perry library. I never thought I would be able to come here. LSBU is giving me a very big opportunity.

When I finish my degree I would like to take all my knowledge and experience back to Nigeria, and be an investment banker.

I decided to study in the UK as British Law is practiced the same way as in Tanzania so this qualification will be recognised when I go back home to find a job. I am really enjoying this experience so far and living in London as there are so many multi-cultural and bilingual people here. I enjoy exploring the city as there is always a lot going on, making it very active. I am currently living in the Dante Road accommodation, which is awesome and has a neighbourhood-like atmosphere. I enjoy revising the ways to write essays and I find the course to be very flexible and supportive. My career aspiration is to work in the music industry and protect musicians or to work with my Dad in his Law Firm in Tanzania. I would definitely recommend this course especially if you have had a gap year as it can help you to get back on track.

Before I came to the UK I studied an interior design course in Hong Kong.

London is a great place to study architecture because there are many galleries, museums, exhibitions and buildings all around me. It gives me more ideas for my subject.

When I finish my degree I hope to complete my Master’s degree so I can become an Architect.”

Emrah moved to ONCAMPUS at London South Bank from another university’s foundation course as he knew it wasn’t right for him.  All the staff at ONCAMPUS were really friendly and helped him settle in quickly.  Emrah feels he really benefited from the IELTS preparation classes and was really good preparation for his university studies.

I love living and studying in the UK with the different people, cultures, etiquette and cuisines. I completed the foundation programme with ONCAMPUS London South Bank last year and it was a fantastic experience. I was able to get back into education after years working in industry and I wouldn’t have achieved these results without the support of the teachers, personal tutor and admin team. The facilities at LSBU are great, I have learnt how to use exciting industry systems including Hysys which is a system used in the Chem Eng industry. After my degree I hope to go on to study a Masters and then start a PhD programme.

"The ONCAMPUS course has been so helpful to my progression; it gave me a good base of understanding and meant that I could study in the field that I am interested in.
