Second FoundationCampus university partner 

We are delighted to announce our second FoundationCampus partnership – with  London South Bank University (LSBU).  This landmark partnership means that CEG is the only private on-campus provider with a central London campus.

On-campus and guaranteed entry
Following our announcement of CEG’s new division, FoundationCampus, LSBU is one of three universities where students can study foundation programmes and English Language on the university’s campus for guaranteed direct entry to its Undergraduate and Master’s programmes.

These new programmes, for which we are now enrolling for entry this September, offer students the following benefits:

• an adult learning experience with university-age students
• a direct route to LSBU
• guaranteed entry to Undergraduate and Master's programmes
• joint offer letters with LSBU for visa applications
  • 1 plus 3 years – Undergraduate
  • 1 plus 1 year – Master’s
• full integration with the university’s student community
• enrichment of learning through sessional teaching by LSBU’s lecturers
• accommodation on campus
• full use of LSBU’s libraries and learning resources
• full back up of CEG’s careers and university placement service if students don’t make the grade for LSBU.

Focus on employment and teaching quality
At our CATS colleges we already offer pathways to the very best universities. Our FoundationCampus partner universities have been selected for their focus on courses for employment and their impressive records of graduate employment.  Some LSBU key facts are:

• 95% of graduates secure employment within six months of graduation.
• Ranked 7th in the Top 10 Universities for Graduate Starting Salaries (The Sunday Times) in 2007 - LSBU beat Oxford University into 9th place in 2005!
• Average graduate starting salaries of £21,500 and PriceWaterhouseCoopers estimate an LSBU degree adds £186,000 to the life-time earnings of its graduates. 
• Focus on professional body recognition eg ACCA for Accountancy, CIBSE for Chartered Engineers.  LSBU has the most exemptions of any undergraduate degree towards becoming a Chartered Accountant, providing a faster and cheaper route to employment.
