ONCAMPUS Hull student, Daniel

My name is Daniel David, I'm Nigerian and I'm currently studying the Undergraduate Foundation Programme Business pathway ONCAMPUS. My choice to study at ONCAMPUS was largely influenced by the fact that they're very concerned about getting you prepared for your actual university experience. Right from the beginning, they keep trying to get you acquainted with everything that you're going to actually face in the university. Every student should have that opportunity to get prepared and ready educationally, academically, you know even emotionally.

Out of the numerous things I enjoyed during this past year, one most worthy of note would be the very healthy and strong relational connection between the tutors and students and how much concern they actually show in helping the students achieve their academic goal. I'm meeting with teachers who really care about how much I understand what I'm being taught and they really care about you know how well or how fast I can absorb the information that I receive. I have been able to make friends and I'm already a part of up to three study groups. I mean it's almost impossible not to socialise when almost every class activity you know is done in groups and we're mostly paired up, so the system really promotes that connection between students and it really helps us to socialise and meet new people, which is really awesome, seeing as there are people from all over the world.

After having good foundation at ONCAMPUS Hull, I look forward to a smooth sail in my Law career study at the Hull University because I've always been intrigued or fascinated by the legal practice, so i'm really hoping to further in Law at the university. There is in fact a list of things that I'm proud of about this concluded foundation programme here: how much I've developed academically, discovering my learning style, exam tips, reading tips, gathering much information with very little time, communication skills, relational skills and I learned all that this year and I'm really proud of that.

To every student out there still thinking about joining ONCAMPUS, my advice to them would be that studying here should be a necessity to every student who desires a good foundation and like a comprehensive preparation for a hitch-free university experience and to ultimately achieve your academic goal.
