RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Ireland

Founded as the national training body for surgery in Ireland, RCSI has been at the forefront of healthcare education since its establishment in 1784 and is one of the most innovative and student-focused health sciences universities in the world.

As an RCSI student, you will join a university with a unique surgical heritage that is globally recognised for educational excellence and ground-breaking research. Students benefit from a research-driven education experience, spearheaded by academic departments, many of which are involved in patient-centred clinical care on a daily basis.

RCSI offers ultra-modern campus facilities, designed with students in mind. 26 York Street was not only voted Ireland’s favourite building at the RIAI Irish Architecture Awards 2018 but is one of the most advanced clinical healthcare simulation centres in Europe.

As Ireland's only specialist health sciences university and the only Surgical College in the world to offer undergraduate degree programmes, RCSI's priority is to graduate well-trained, highly skilled healthcare professionals in the disciplines of pharmacy, physiotherapy, advanced therapeutic technologies and medicine.
