Medicine Undergraduate Foundation Programme

Preparing international students for a career in medicine.

Our Medicine Pathways

The Medicine Undergraduate Foundation Programme (Medicine UFP) is one of the routes to medicine available through OnCampus.

The programme is offered at OnCampus UK North and is specifically designed to prepare students for medicine degrees at the University of Lancashire, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, St George's University Grenada or the University of Nicosia Cyprus.

There are two alternatives programmes students can study that lead to medicine degrees:

The International Foundation Programme at OnCampus Ireland and the Undergraduate Foundation Programme (Life Sciences pathway) at OnCampus UK North.

The route you choose depends on the progression degree you are aiming for and the university partner you would prefer to study at.

What the Medicine UFP covers

The Medicine UFP at OnCampus UK North includes four core modules that are taken by all students throughout the course. These modules are: Medical Biology, Chemistry for Medicine, Pure Maths with Statistics and English.
Students will also study a Medicine Skills module, which will support your application to medical schools and help prepare you for your progression interview.
