Loughborough is a lovely market town in the heart of the East Midlands with a large student population. It offers great value for money when compared to larger cities in the UK such as London, but also has fantastic transport links to big cities such as nearby Leicester and Nottingham.
While the university campus offers plenty for students to do through the Students’ Union and clubs and societies, the town centre is just a fifteen-minute walk away and boasts a popular market twice a week, a town hall that holds music concerts and theatre performances, and many places to eat and shop to suit all tastes.
Nearby countryside provides a picturesque rural escape for days out. Charnwood Forest, the Peak District National Park, and Sherwood Forest are all easily accessible by bus.
