The TSI building is the latest addition to Maynooth University. The building was an Architecturally led design project by RKD Architects and has been shortlisted for an ICE (Irish Construction Excellence) Award 2024 in the category of best Education Project over €10M https://iceawards.ie/finalists/#15. Teaching spaces include lecture theatres for 500, 250 and 300 persons respectively, classrooms, seminar rooms and group collaboration rooms, with a cafe and exhibition space located at ground floor. Offices comprise a mix of single person cellular offices, shared office areas and open plan office spaces with a provision of meeting rooms and breakout spaces.
Design options are also underway for an exciting extension to the existing Sports Hall at Maynooth University by appointed architects Reddy Architects + Urbanism.
Student life
