Meet students

I really like to study at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam because I have learned a lot in Economics, Business, Maths and English. The University of Amsterdam is a well-known university and has great facilities.

While I am studying the Undergraduate Foundation Programme, I can already make use of the university library because we have a University of Amsterdam student card. With this card you can also get discounts at many student places, such as at the movies, the book store and student meals.

I enjoy living in university managed accommodation because I live with international students and the quality of the room is very good. My room is very close to the campus so I always walk to school. I am looking forward studying the BSc Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam.

I wanted to study in Europe as it’s so convenient to travel and the education system is highly regarded. Amsterdam is a beautiful city and the architecture is truly breath-taking. ONCAMPUS Amsterdam offer Dutch classes which made it a lot easier to settle in to life here. The teachers are patient and very knowledgeable; I am always learning new and interesting things which has made this an amazing year!

Amsterdam is a vibrant and safe city to live in. The relatively small city is well-organised - especially the transportation system. You can take the metro, tram or trains or you can take your bicycle. Amsterdam has lots to offer such as famous museums, the Van Gogh and the Rijksmuseum, but there are also lots of festivals to go to.

The University of Amsterdam is one of the highest ranked universities and I decided to study at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam not only to prepare myself academically for the BSc Economics and Business, but also to get used to the new environment such as studying on campus and living independently in Amsterdam.

I have learned a lot now in the subjects  of Business, Economics, Maths and English and therefore I am really happy with my decision study at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam.

I like to study at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam because it feels like you are already studying at the University of Amsterdam. We have our classes on campus and we can use all the facilities such as the library, student restaurant, computers and study places. The facilities are very modern and it is convenient that everything is very close by.

I receive lots of personal attention and help from my teachers. There are students from many different countries studying at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam and this is a great way to make new friends but also to improve my English skills.

I have already been in Amsterdam for a few months but I am still discovering lots of things in Amsterdam.

I heard about the University of Amsterdam via my friends because it a well-known university due to its reputation and high rankings.

The Netherlands is a great country to study because it offers an excellent economic environment. There are many successful Dutch companies such as Shell, Philips and ING Bank and their headquarters are based here too.

The central location of Amsterdam within Europe is also an advantage because you can travel easily to other European countries.

ONCAMPUS Amsterdam gives you the opportunity to enter one of the best universities in the world and provides the best preparation for the BSc Economics and Business. The staff are very friendly and are always prepared to help. Their support has helped me to settle in Amsterdam.

Amsterdam is a great city to live in. It has a rich history, lots of museums, canals, many different nationalities and it is also a relatively small city so you can easily find your way.

I choose to study at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam because via this pathway, I have the opportunity to enter the University of Amsterdam. It is one of the best universities in the world and therefore I wanted to have a preparation year before I will start the degree.

I have already learned a lot at the Undergraduate Foundation Programme and made many friends. When you arrive in Amsterdam, you will first participate in the induction week. I really enjoyed the induction week because it is a great way to make friends. During the classes, I receive lots of attention and guidance from the teachers, and it really helps me to develop myself.

While I am studying at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam , I noticed that Amsterdam has a very pleasant environment and atmosphere to study in. Students are very independent and are expected to study a lot by themselves, while they receive support from their teachers. Teachers are very approachable; I feel that I can ask everything. This motivates me to study hard.

Living and studying here means that you will always have things to do. You can join the activities organised by international student organisations, and you can visit the parks or go to the student sport centre.

Amsterdam is a vibrant, small and safe city with friendly people and almost everybody speaks English to a high level, so it is easy to travel within the city. I am looking forward to progressing to one of the best universities in the world - the University of Amsterdam.
