“I am very grateful to receive the Amsterdam ONCAMPUS Excellence Award. It is a great motivation to work hard during my degree which starts in September 2013. I started the foundation programme in September 2012 and I am very glad with my decision to join Amsterdam ONCAMPUS. The staff is very friendly and supportive and they helped me, especially in the beginning, to settle down into life in Amsterdam.

Looking back, I have learned a lot during the nine-months at ONCAMPUS. I have especially improved my English language skills and I received great support from the maths teacher. The teachers of the ONCAMPUS are really responsible and if needed they even provide extra tutorials after class.
Amsterdam has lots of parks so it is easy to relax with friends, and the University of Amsterdam provides all the study facilities that you need. I have put a lot of effort into studying and I am very happy that this is recognized by ONCAMPUS.

I am looking forward to starting the BSc Economics and Business. After finishing my degree, I am going to search for a good job in Amsterdam to start my professional career.”

I wanted to study PPLE as it is a unique programme with four disciplines so it would give me a range of knowledge and enough variety to keep my options open. International Relations is a topic I did not study at high school, I have enjoyed learning about it as it is closely linked to Law which is the area I want to specialise in. The foundation programme has developed my critical thinking, English skills and it has made me more aware of different nationalities and cultural differences. I have developed a lot this year and feel inspired by the staff and my peers.

I wanted to study a degree abroad in English, within an affordable student city. It is really easy to move around in Amsterdam, which is completely different to living in Brazil. I have found all the modules very interesting but Maths has been the most beneficial to me – I hope to go into the banking field after my degree. It has been an interesting and lively experience studying at ONCAMPUS.

After graduating in China I worked for a few years and now I would like to specialise in Economics and Business, so I decided to choose the University of Amsterdam and enter via ONCAMPUS Amsterdam . I especially like the opportunity in the degree to do an internship or go on exchange for a semester as it will help me to put my academic knowledge into practice. Amsterdam is a good destination for international students because it is a small city and lots of people speak English very well.

Living and studying in Amsterdam means that you are surrounded by many international students from all over the world. I have made lots of friends at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam of many different nationalities. I am also living with students from many different countries in my accommodation. We regularly meet for social activities together such as having dinner, going to the movies and sightseeing in Amsterdam.

Before I arrived in Amsterdam, I travelled several times to Europe. I had a few options to study at European universities and I decided to choose ONCAMPUS Amsterdam to enter the University of Amsterdam. The opportunity to study at one of the best universities in the world while live in the capital city of the Netherlands, and in a central location in Europe was the most important to me.

I was surprised by the relatively low tuition fees of the University of Amsterdam and the low living costs compared to similar ranked universities in English speaking countries. This is a great benefit of studying here.

Everybody at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam is friendly and helpful. I can always ask questions to my tutors or during the personal tutorial. I also enjoyed the induction week because it is a great way to meet fellow students right at the start of. ONCAMPUS Amsterdam.

I decided to study at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam because it offers the Undergraduate Foundation Programme that is especially designed to enter the University of Amsterdam, one of the best universities in the world and in Europe.

I really like studying and living  in Amsterdam. It is a relatively small city, so you can find everything you need here. Public transport is well organized and everybody cycles. It is a very safe city with many different nationalities and many students, so Amsterdam is the perfect study destination.

I am living at the Student Hotel and I really like living here. I regularly eat with other international students and there are often activities organised with everybody who lives here. There is also a gym on site and I have a Student Hotel bicycle that I use daily. I would recommend others to study at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam .

Amsterdam is an international and very safe city with lots of historic buildings and canals. It is a great city to live in and everybody speaks English to a high level. The city is relatively small, which makes it easy to visit many places in Amsterdam. Everybody cycles in Amsterdam and the transportation systems are very well organised.

At ONCAMPUS Amsterdam , I have not only improved my English but also my knowledge in Business, Economics and Maths. ONCAMPUS Amsterdam also organises an end-of-term activity where all students come together in a social activity to celebrate that the term has ended. I really enjoy these activities, for example, I have participated in the pub quiz which was organized in CREA, one of the cultural centres for students studying in Amsterdam.

ONCAMPUS Amsterdam offers me intensive guidance through the academic subjects of the Undergraduate Foundation Programme. There is a lot of support from the tutors during the classes and I can always visit the office when I have questions.

You can find everything you need on campus; the classes are being taught on campus, the library, student canteen, computers and study rooms, and the facilities are very modern.

Amsterdam is a safe, multicultural, and beautiful city. There are many historic buildings and lots of bicycles. I am very happy with my decision to join ONCAMPUS Amsterdam to enter the University of Amsterdam - one of the highest ranked universities in the world.

I was overwhelmed with joy when I received the Amsterdam Merit Scholarship. This will not only help me financially, but it will increase my motivation even more to study hard. I could never imagine that all my efforts would be rewarded with this scholarship when I started the ONCAMPUS course. After finishing my Bachelor Economics and Business, I would like to continue to study for a Master’s degree at the University of Amsterdam and thereafter I hope to find a job in the financial sector in my home country.

I decided to join ONCAMPUS because it provides me access to one of the best universities in the world. The Netherlands and especially Amsterdam is a very comfortable place to live. I adapted easily to Amsterdam, even though it was my first time being abroad! A lot of international students with many different nationalities are living in Amsterdam, so you will never feel alone. I would definitely recommend Amsterdam ONCAMPUS to other students. The teachers and staff are very kind and helpful. Class sizes are relatively small and therefore we get lots of personal attention and guidance from them.

I am also very happy with my university managed accommodation because I am living with friendly international students and the room provides a high quality of living.

Amsterdam is a very safe and a relatively small city so you can easily find everything you need within the city. I live in university managed accommodation and I really like my room. It is relatively big and the quality is very good.

I especially like that international students from many different countries are studying at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam and through this programme it is also easy to make friends.

Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam is a challenging but rewarding programme, I have especially enjoyed the assignments on finance and organisational behaviours. Every year I have completed an internship for 3 months over the summer. In my first year worked in marketing in Moscow. I have since been working for a consultancy company in the accounts department in Amsterdam - it has supported what I have learnt in the classroom and my understanding on the programme.

I decided to study abroad to learn new things in a new environment. ONCAMPUS Amsterdam is an excellent route to enter the University of Amsterdam. The university is one of the best universities in the world and I would definitely recommend the pathway to other students. The tuition fees and living costs are also  relatively low compared to other similar ranked universities in English speaking countries.

The best thing that I have learned so far is to be independent and to make day to day decisions in daily life. ONCAMPUS Amsterdam gives you the opportunity to meet other students from countries all over the world and we have a lot in common, so it is easy to make friends.

I am looking forward progressing to the BSc Economics and Business and graduate in this degree to continue my career in the business entertainment sector.

I was looking for a good university abroad in an international student city, so I decided to study at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam to enter the University of Amsterdam.

The University of Amsterdam is one of the best universities in the world and ONCAMPUS Amsterdam is an excellent route to enter the university. The quality of living and the safety level is very high in Amsterdam. There are also many international students from all over the world, so I feel very comfortable studying and living in Amsterdam.

The University of Amsterdam has everything you will need - excellent facilities such as the library and study places, and lots of services such as the student information centre and many international student organizations.  I really like the subjects that I am studying now and I am looking forward to progressing to the BSc Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam.

I am really enjoying my time studying at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam and living in Amsterdam. I especially like the international student environment at the University of Amsterdam, because I am surrounded by many different nationalities in my class during the Foundation programme.

I have made lots of friends from countries all over the world and we do many things together at the weekends. For example, I have attended a trip to a traditional small village in the Netherlands called ‘Volendam’ with the international student organization ISN. It is a great way to make friends but also to learn more about the Netherlands. I have also learnt some Dutch words through the Dutch classes offered at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam.

I was looking for an international city to study in, and decided to choose Amsterdam. Dutch people speak English to a high level and it is a nice environment to study in. There are many international students and the city is relatively small, so you can find everything you will need in Amsterdam.

In my spare time, I like to play soccer or go to the gym or watch movies. There are many activities in Amsterdam where you can participate as a student. You will receive an University of Amsterdam student card, so you can access all facilities.

I am living in university managed accommodation and would recommend this to international students. My room is relatively big and is high quality. It is conveniently located in a safe area in Amsterdam.

I really enjoyed my time at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam; the staff were really supportive and taught me skills that I have had to use a lot on my degree – from presenting to researching for assignments. The modules we studied made it mucheasier for me in the first year as I already had basic knowledge and others who had come directly to university didn’t have this head start. After my degree I hope to get real life work experience and immerse myself in the real business world.

Studying at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam will offer you the opportunity to enter one of the best universities in the world and in Europe. At the same time, you will also pay relatively low tuition fees and the living costs are lower than at similarly ranked universities in other English speaking countries. The majority of the Dutch people speak English to a high level.

The tutors and the support of ONCAMPUS Amsterdam are very friendly. They always help me when I have questions and are very approachable. I wanted to increase my knowledge in Economics and Business before I enter the BSc Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam because I would like to be prepared as much as possible. Since I arrived in Amsterdam, I already have learned a lot academically but also living independently, I even learnt how to cook!

I love this city and have always wanted to study in Europe. I am interested in Politics so the PPLE programme is perfect and it is taught in English. I live in university accommodation close to the campus, it is very affordable. I like the small classroom setting and the international background of the students and staff at ONCAMPUS. After completing my degree I would like to go to Law school and work for a NGO. I would definitely recommend it as it is a comprehensive transition into university and you develop the confidence and knowledge needed to succeed.

I chose to study at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam because of its close links with the University of Amsterdam. I wanted better career opportunities and to be able to partake in internships across the Netherlands on my degree programme. The teachers here are supportive and make each subject really interesting. The English classes are really thorough, I have improved a lot and I am able to communicate very well now which has helped me make new friends.

The combination of studying at ONCAMPUS Amsterdam while preparing for the BSc Economics and Business at the University of Amsterdam is perfect. While studying the Undergraduate Foundation Programme, you will study on campus and you can use all facilities that university students also use, such as the library, computers, and student canteen. You can also join international student organisations or access CREA, where you can watch movies or theatre. So I already feel like I am a university student.

Amsterdam is a very safe city in a clean environment with open-minded and friendly people. The University of Amsterdam is a high ranked university, while the tuition fees are relatively low compared to similar ranked universities in English speaking countries.
