OnCampus Ireland Academic Statement

  • The Academic Statement is issued by OnCampus, Cambridge Education Group (prior to April 2015 known as FoundationCampus)

  • To ensure the security of our transcripts, no electronic versions should be accepted. The original transcript bears a watermark and a hologrammed OnCampus logo. The veracity of the transcript can be checked by emailing [email protected], using the Student ID number and other identifying information detailed below.
International Foundation Programme (IFP)
This programme is subject to confirmation from Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI). On successful completion, candidates will receive an Academic Statement issued by OnCampus, followed by a Specific Purpose Certificate (SPC) issued by QQI once the award has been confirmed.
Pre-Master's Programme (PMP)
This programme is validated by Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin). On successful completion, candidates will receive an Academic Statement issued by OnCampus, followed by an additional qualification document issued by TU Dublin once the award has been confirmed.
Term used Definition
Programme The overall course of study comprising a defined set of modules leading to a qualification or progression outcome. IFP – International Foundation Programme. PMP – Pre-Master’s Programme
NFQ Level Equivalence The award level as classified by Ireland’s National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). The programme is taught entirely in English. 
Pathway (IFP only) A subject-specific route within the programme, indicating the candidate’s area of academic focus and associated modules. 
Centre Name The approved OnCampus study location where the programme was delivered and the candidate undertook their academic studies. 
Student Name The full name of the candidate, as shown on their passport, to whom the award has been made. They, and only they, are the legitimate bearer of this transcript
Student ID Number The unique student number which will identify the student on CEG systems
Date of Birth The candidate’s date of birth as shown on their passport
Start Date The date on which the programme was started by the candidate
End Date The date on which the programme was completed by the candidate
Academic Results The record of modules completed by the candidate and the corresponding marks (%) awarded for each module. 
Grade (IFP only) Grades are awarded based on the percentage mark achieved for each module, according to the following grade bands: Distinction - 80% and above; Merit - 65% to 79%; Pass - 50% to 64%; Referred - 49% and below
