Candidate Name The full name of the candidate, as shown on their passport, to whom the award has been made. They, and only they, are the legitimate bearer of this transcript
Student ID Number (Formerly CEG Number) The unique student number which will identify the student on CEG systems
Date of Birth The candidate’s date of birth as shown on their passport
Date Awarded The formal date the transcript is awarded to the candidate by CEG OnCampus
Start Date The date on which the programme was started by the candidate
End Date The date on which the programme was completed by the candidate
RQF Level Equivalence** The award level as defined by the Regulated Qualifications Framework for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.The programme is taught entirely in English.

In agreement with our university partners, we operate an academic assessment grading and marking scheme closely mirroring General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) awards.

In order to successfully pass our programmes, students need to achieve an English result equivalent to IELTS 6.0 (with no element below 5.5), and achieve a grade of 40% in every academic module.

OnCampus works to a standard programme pass mark for English of 60% overall, with no skill below 50%. It is noted that many degree programmes have a higher progression requirement.

For OnCampus Centres using the OnCampus Test of English (OCTOE) or Academic English Language Development module (AELD) as an exit English result, the following equivalencies are applied:

English Assessment Exemption

In some cases, students may be exempt from English assessment. This will be shown on the transcript with the relevant reason. Exemption may be granted for the following reasons:
  • Student holds a valid English certificate at the required level for progression. Used when a student joins us with a UKVI IELTS certificate that is at or above the progression requirement and will be valid at the time the student begins their degree.
  • Student is a native speaker of English. Often used when student has a UK passport.
  • Student holds a UK degree.
  • Student holds a degree-level qualification from UKVI’s list of majority English-speaking countries. 
  • Student is a national of UKVI’s list of majority English-speaking countries.
