In the first few days of your program, you will meet our staff and tour the campus and facilities. We will help you settle into your new home and offer advice on adjusting to American culture. Orientation is required for all students to help them learn more about our program. You will meet your teachers, advisors, and people that provide other services for you on campus. We want you to feel confident and comfortable before you start your classes. Orientation is also a great opportunity to make friends with other international students who are also in your program.
Students will be issued a Morrisville State College Identification (ID) card during the first day on campus. This ID card has multiple purposes and should be carried with you at all times.
Towards the end of the week, students are brought together for a series of induction talks, opening with a welcome from the Center Head and followed by information about attendance, welfare, exams, the center IT system and academic introductions.
We wrap up with an organized social event, providing an ideal opportunity for staff and students to meet one another in a relaxed environment.
