Anna receives offer to study Medicine at ONCAMPUS UCLan

Anna joined the Medicine Undergraduate Foundation Programme at ONCAMPUS UCLan in September 2014, with the ambition to study MBBS at UCLan.

We are delighted that Anna has been interviewed by the School of Medicine and Dentistry and has received a conditional offer to study Medicine from September 2015.

“I decided I wanted to study Medicine when I was 12. I surrounded myself by people who worked in the field, so I could share their experiences and learn from them.

I chose the programme at UCLan FoundationCampus because it is designed for international students, and I knew I would feel very comfortable in this environment.

I enjoy the programme because there is a small number of students in the class so we know each other really well, and there is always opportunity for individual questions. I have made many friends from all over the world, and this has helped me to learn a lot about other countries and cultures.

Every subject is important, but FoundationCampus are helping me really focus on the areas I need to improve. They have given me the support I needed to build my confidence and believe in myself.

When I received the offer from UCLan, I was really excited and very relieved. I called all of my friends and they were very excited for me. To be honest, it was one of the best experiences of my life!

I would advise students who are considering Medicine at UCLan to make sure they are very committed to Medicine, believe in themselves, work very hard, and go for it!"
