A foundation course is a stepping stone to the world of higher education. It's a one-year pathway programme that bridges an academic gap and improves your english language at the same time.

After studying a foundation course, you can go on to study for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. You can study many different subjects on a foundation course, selecting the right one depends on your level of education, age and english language skills. It also gives you time to adjust to a new culture before you begin your degree and helps you get used to living and learning overseas.

So if you're an international student finishing your high school exams and want to study at a UK, US or European university but don't qualify for entry, a foundation course is the best option for you.
