    The easiest way to get around Boston is by using the subway, or the ‘T’ as it’s known. It is clean, safe and easily accessible. 

    Boston is also a great city to walk around, because it is so compact and – except for Beacon Hill – it is flat too.

    Boston also has a thriving live music scene that caters for all tastes. The famous Boston Symphony Orchestra plays numerous concerts and offer reduced tickets for students. Or if you prefer small venues, the Paradise, Harpers Ferry and the House of Blues play host to local live bands.

    Basketball

    The Boston area has four beloved sports teams, which together, have won 9 championships since 2001, earning itself the nickname of Titletown USA. Fenway Park, where the Red Sox play and TD Garden, where the Celtics and the Bruins play, are located within the City of Boston, and assessable by train, bus, and walking. Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots play, is located south of Boston in the City of Foxboro, also accessible by train.
