Clubs and Societies:
The One-2-One Club is a relatively new initiative designed to strengthen social networks for students who find that they are the only student/handful of students from their country at the centre. We meet once a term and so far have enjoyed a local buffet, gone out for Christmas dinner and been to the local university cinema. We hope to continue building on the success of One-2-One club and continue to help students create vital social and support networks, as well as meet students from different cultures and backgrounds.
Culturae Mundi Partnership
Although run by students at Coventry University, ONCAMPUS Coventry have recently created a strong relationship with Culturae Mundi with growing numbers of our students joining the programme to help celebrate and promote muliculturism across the campus. Students can volunteer to help with the arrangements of a number of exciting events such as Chinese New Year, Diwali, Holi, Eid and European Day amongst many others. In their own words, Culturae Mundi aim ‘to enrich in particular the experience for international students from the UK from a social perspective’
