How Pathways in USA Help You Find Work Opportunities

Once you receive a certificate of eligibility (Form I-20) from our institution, you can apply for an F-1 student visa that allows you to study in the USA. With this status, you have two options for working in the USA after 9 months of study:

  • Curricular Practical Training (CPT) lets you work full or part-time during vacation periods at an internship or job directly connected to the course you are taking
  • Optional Practical Training (OPT) allows for 18 months of paid work following the completion of your program if it's related to your field of study
